About Charly.

As long as I can remember I’ve had a paintbrush in my hand. Sitting with my father in his studio, being inspired by the world around me. But my main inspiration has always been from nature.

That inspiration has come alive in a variety of different mediums throughout the years, from lino print and watercolour, to what I focus on today, encaustic.

Today, you can find my work in homes around the world, from my hometown on the Sunshine Coast, BC to Paris, France.

Taking inspiration from nature and turning it into a story.

Something that has always been unique about my work is that each piece I create has a unique story to tell. Whether it is a personal story of someone I am commissioning a piece for, or a story that resonates with me that I want to tell through paint. These stories are what connect us to artwork and allow us to admire original pieces for years to come.
